Steve currently serves as a strategic advisor to high growth, multi-platform companies and a mentor to start-ups. He is also an Adjunct Professor for Syracuse University in Los Angeles teaching Digital Media and Innovation as well as for the Boston University in Los Angeles Masters in Media Ventures program teaching Multi-Platform Entertainment Marketing.
From 2011-2015, Steve was Chief Operating Officer/Chief Revenue Officer for Zazoom Media Group where he developed the corporate strategy and managed all facets of revenue, multiplatform distribution, partner relations and social media. Earlier in his career Steve was the VP, Content Strategy & Business Affairs for venture-backed GoTV Networks, at the time the premiere U.S. mobile media network which produced channels across the music, sports and entertainment spectrum.
Steve has also developed monetization and go-to market strategies for such companies as The Improvisation, Sony Interactive, Engage Games Online and TriStar Pictures (including films like The Natural) as well as produced the first (and only) eSportsWorld Conference. His corporate experience includes tenures at MGM Worldwide Television and Universal TV (Coach & Roggin’s Heroes).
Steve tweets for DeepSports TV and writes the What If… blog about today’s multi-platform world. He is also a board member of the Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship in the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
